Moon Valley Country Club – Located in Phoenix, AZ, Moon Valley Country Club has a rich history dating all the way back to 1961. Moon Valley features an 18-hole Championship Golf Course, an 18-hole short course called the Moon Walk. Moon Valley also has an Olympic-sized pool, 8 lighted tennis courts featuring very active adult and junior programs, and extensive dining and banquet facilities in a 120,000 square-foot Clubhouse. Borders Golf Group was hired to guide the club through the bankruptcy and restructuring process. In mid-2013, Moon Valley was bought out of bankruptcy by new ownership. Borders Golf Group has been retained by the new owners to provide hands-on, full-service management. This includes golf operations, food and beverage management, agronomy and membership plan development.
Stallion Mountain Golf Club – Located in Las Vegas, Stallion Mountain Golf Club is home to 18 holes of spectacular golf. The 7,351-yard layout that was designed by PGA Tour legend Jim Colbert and golf course architect Jeff Brauer. The club has a decorated history in the Las Vegas golfscape as a host venue for the PGA Tour Las Vegas Invitational, Golf Channel’s Big Break II, and the Frank Sinatra Celebrity Classic. Located within just seven miles of the fabulous Las Vegas Strip, Stallion Mountain has a full-service 38,000 square foot clubhouse is the perfect place to enjoy great food and spirits before and after your round. TPC Cancun (Cancun Country Club) – Located in the resort destination of Cancun, Mexico, this is the first PGA TPC-branded facility outside the United States. Located just minutes from the airport and hotel zone, this 36-hole facility is part of the Cancun Country Club residential development. The first 18 holes is a championship course designed by Nick Price. It opened in May 2012 to rave reviews. The second 18 holes, a championship course designed by Tom Fazio, is under construction. Completion is estimated for January 2014. The facility also includes a temporary clubhouse with a food and beverage operation. The first phase of a planned 125,000 square foot clubhouse is under construction and is scheduled to open in November, 2014. In addition to the residential development, other facilities will include a boutique hotel, beach club, and high-end retail center. Borders Golf Group owns and provides full-service, hands-on management of TPC Cancun in a joint venture with JCVGolf of Cancun, Mexico.
Tiger Point Golf Club – Nestled along the gentle shores of Santa Rosa Sound in Gulf Breeze, Florida, Tiger Point Golf Club is a public course that features twenty-seven championship holes and offers the perfect balance of recreation and challenge. With awe-inspiring views of the water, Tiger Point Golf Club is the perfect place to reconnect with family, friends, and coworkers. Borders Golf Group has been to provide long-term hands-on consulting. This includes golf operations management, food and beverage management, golf and food and beverage executive search, and advising on a complete renovation that will restore Tiger Point to its previous 36-hole glory. Borders is also consulting on the renovation and layout of the clubhouse and related facilities.
Todd Creek Golf Club – Located in Thornton, Colorado, Heritage Todd Creek is an 18-hole, 7,435 yard Arthur Hills Signature golf course. It is a challenging course that complements the native terrain, surrounded by the magnificent Rocky Mountains. Borders Golf Group acquired Heritage Todd Creek Golf Club in June, 2012 from homebuilder Lennar Corp (NYSE:LEN). The sale included a water rights solution that provides the facility with a stable, affordable source of water into the future. It also included the Creekside Restaurant, which required a significant food and beverage restructuring, a full-service restaurant. Large banquets are easily accommodated, and the spectacular mountain views are a great backdrop for weddings. Borders also completely redesigned the club’s logo to go along with a rebranding of the facility after the purchase from Lennar. In addition to ownership, Borders Golf Group provides hands-on, full-service management to Todd Creek Golf Club.
Luther Forest Country Club – Located in beautiful Saratoga, NY, this project is in the early stages of development. Located on over 1,000 acres of rolling hills, wetlands, and heavily wooded areas, this golf community, with only 30 exclusive home sites available, will make this the first club of its kind in the area. This Private Club will be geared towards the affluent market, in an area that has minimal golf options. Rees Jones has been chosen as the architect, with the hopes of hosting a major tournament in the future. Other amenities include an upscale clubhouse, food and beverage options, and a lodging component. Borders Golf Group has been engaged to provide consulting for all phases of the project.
