Current Projects

Punta Lobos - Located in Todos Santos, Baja MX this spectacular piece of property is in the beginning phases of the project. With 3 Ochoa Hills golf courses planned along with a deep water marina with facilities that will be second to none. Our current role is performing the due diligence, financial Proformas and to attract investors to join in this one of a kind property.

TPC Cancun (Cancun Country Club)- Located in Cancun, MX. This is a joint venture between Borders Golf Group and JCV Golf to lease and operate this spectacular 36-hole facility. These will be the first Tournament Players Club properties located outside of the United States. The first course will feature 18 holes of championship golf designed by Nick Price with a scheduled opening date of early 2012. The second course, designed by Tom Fazio, is slated to begin construction in 2012 with an opening date of early 2014. Additional slated amenities will include a 125,000 S.F. clubhouse, boutique hotel, and beach club, along with residential and commercial development. We have a long term lease to operate all of the golf facilities.

Las Olas Resort and Club- Located in Playa La Barqueta on the Pacific Coast of Panama, this spectacular property is in the beginning phases of the project. With a golf course already under construction, as well as an existing first-class tennis facility, Las Olas promises to be a community with fantastic and varied amenities. A deep water marina is also planned with facilities that will be second to none. There will be an array of upscale housing choices, including condominiums, villa lots, and custom home sites. Borders current role is performing the due diligence, building financial proformas, as well as attracting investors to join in this beautiful project.

Santa Amelia - Located in Los Barriles on the East Cape of Baja, MX. – This new development will begin construction in fall of 2011. With spectacular views and easy beach access, first phase amenities will feature a Greg Norman Golf Course, a 60 room boutique hotel, as well as a mixture of residential products that fits today’s market demands. Future phases call for additional residences, golf, marina and other amenities. Borders will be the project manager and represent the ownership group. We will be responsible for all the development of infrastructure, residential, amenities, as well as manage all faculties upon their completion. In addition, we will have operating responsibility for all aspects of the property to include sales and marketing, residential sales, membership development along with community relations.

Catamount Ranch and Club - Unique development with 105 homes with an 18 hole Tom Weiskopf golf course. Located 8 miles away is a private 530 acre lake for Catamount members only. Manage all aspects of the development including golf operations, golf maintenance, summer and winter recreation, athletic facilities and 2 full service restaurants. Responsible for all administrative functions including membership sales and programming for the Club.

The Club at Cordillera - Located in the Vail Valley of Colorado, this spectacular club has many features, including 4 golf courses, 3 restaurants, clubhouses, trailhead lodge, and athletic club. Borders Golf group has been engaged by Addison Law Firm to complete detailed financial proformas and an operating structure that will ensure successful operation of the club. Members are in negotiations to purchase the Club form the current owner. Mr. Petrash was formerly the President of the Cordillera Group and responsible for the golf portfolio of the company between 2001 and 2009.

Placencia - Located in Placencia, Belize, C.A. Placencia is a gated 6,500-acre resort community encompassing a realm of family-style indulgences, including a new privately owned international airport, our own private island, the all-inclusive Placencia Club and the historic creation of a 55,000-acre conservation easement. Borders has been engaged to source the funding to complete construction. We will also be involved in choosing the golf course designer, operate the course upon completion, as well as assist in selecting a hotel flag.
